Listening-Shaggy...yes that Shaggy...lol
I just found a program (for Macs) to get music from old ipods...I thought 200+ songs were stuck on my old Nano!!
Loving--My New Macbook!!
I made the plunge last Saturday. Best Buy was having a sale and I've been saving...and I needed one. It took me mere minutes to create my Currently this time and in the past I'd probably still be waiting to load something. Traditionally I was a PC person so I'm experiencing a learning curve but so far so good.
Thinking--Brrr!
I'm in Indiana. We had a 2hr delay today. You're probably thinking "Oh they must've gotten snow." Nope...this is our second 2hr delay for low temps. Oh my goodness! I also live in an apt and walked to the leasing office this afternoon. Bad idea. I thought my legs were going to snap off. I actually thought to myself "If I were Rose (from Titanic) I would've bogarted the floating furniture, too."
Wanting--To be Beachfront
Enough said.
Needing--I have been so bad at keeping on top of my Math Journals. I'm way ahead in our actual math text than I am on creating these. So, if I get it finished before Sunday I'm going to do something special *Stay Tuned!*
Pet Peeves--Lying
This really encompasses a lot for me. (In the classroom and life)
Don't lie to me...especially over stupid things. When I find out things will be far worse off.
Don't cheat. I saw you looking at their paper and you're telling me you didn't copy?! Cheating is dishonesty. (I have a few "Cheater Pants" this year...can you tell?)
Here are a few February things I do have finished:

Welcome to the world of Mac's... they are wonderful. Yes, a bit of a learning curve, but I think they are much more user friendly! What program did you find to save your music from your iPod? I have that same problem and haven't investigated a solution yet, I'd love it if you'd share :)

I asked the Apple people at Best Buy about my iTunes problem before I purchased because I discovered the problem when I had to get my last PC replaced and suddenly couldn't sync!!
It's called Senuti (iTunes backwards!) Just make sure to sync your current device (oops, I didn't) to iTunes first then run the program w/ your old iPod and all the old songs will be there! You can transfer 1000 songs for free.
Thanks for stopping by!

I wish we could get a 2 hour delay here! Lots of schools have gotten delayed but I guess -25 isn't cold enough! Ha! I am your newest follower!

I can't imagine having a 2 hour delay due to low temps! Oh my! I don't know if this southern girl could take that cold, cold weather! I don't have a new Mac book, but I do have a new Ipad. Apple products are pretty cool!

I giant puffy heart my MAC! I will never be a PC person again! There is a little learning curve, but then everything is so EASY to do! Love it! It took me a year to save for mine and may be the best purchase ever.

@Jennifer
Every Mac person I've talked to has said they love it and assured me that I'll love it. I've never heard that from a PC person. Each day I'm googling or leaning something new. It's been a very happy week! I did kinda hold onto my PC roots. I installed MS Works 2011 for Mac on it, lol.
I've been thinking about getting a Mac too!!! I've heard nothing but great things about them:)

Nothing but great things about Macs. I bought my first Mac 18 years ago & have never looked back.

Oooh, lying is a good one too. Some people can do it so easily that it's scary. I have the kids in my class convinced that the sensor in the ceiling is a camera-suddenly they are more honest! I'm a little jealous of the cold weather-it just doesn't feel like winter here. :)
